I&#39;m fairly new to Neighborhood Digest and noticed there are many pets listed as lost or found.  As many of you know, the Animal Rescue League will gladly check for a microchip in any animals that are found. Please remember to do a microchip check before giving the pet away to another family or person. Of course, other shelters and clinics also do this, but ARL is probably the closest to Highland Park. I know if my cats went missing, I would be beside myself and hope that anyone who found them would check their microchips. <div>
<br></div><div>Also, if your pet goes missing, remember to call all local shelters to see if it has been dropped off there.  Most will hold animals for a few days so owners can find them! <br></div><div><br></div><div>-- <br>
