CHILDCARE CENTER - Early Childhood Educator
Eastminster’s childcare program under the supervision of the Director.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Has a love for children and seeks to grow and develop them.
- Is self-motivated, able to work independently and to multi-task.
- Displays appropriate compassionate, yet assertive communication skills.
- Can interact effectively with a diverse range of people.
- Is welcoming and invitational towards, children, parents and staff, maintaining a consistently positive attitude.
- Demonstrated ability to create and implement age appropriate lesson plans.
- Prepare classroom to be a safe and clean learning environment.
- Has knowledge of and dedication to NAEYC, Keystone Stars and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania requirements.
- Must possess considerable knowledge of individual and group behavior with emphasis on children’s needs and behavior patterns
- Possesses and maintains current ACT 33, 34 and FBI clearances.
- EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or in the Human Services field from an accredited college or university, and at least one year of experience working with children. High School Diploma and at least two years of experience working with children required.
This is a non-exempt, full-time position. approximately 40 hours/week. Available immediately

Pay: $28,000.00 - $32,000.00 per year
