We dropped in last weekend for a meal but did not stay. We were ushered unceremoniously to the basement even though the upstairs room was empty. Apparently, the upstairs room is reserved for parties but it appears to be the better of the two dining areas. Why not let folks eat there unless there is a party going on .......

However; I digress, what put both of us off and made us leave was the 'aroma' in the basement. It could generously be described as fetid and was most unappealing.

The evening was not a total disaster as we tried La Casa for tapas at 5882 Elsworth and loved it so much we stayed for four hours.

My wife & I ate during the first week they were open.  The food was
pretty good.  The atmosphere was about the same as when it was the
Indian restaurant--you have to go downstairs to eat and there weren't a
lot of people there.  But it's a new restaurant so I'm sure they would
appreciate it if folks checked it out to fix that second problem :)

The prices were fair.  They have menus out front which you could check
out.  The selection seemed good but I'm no gourmet :)

I'd say to check them out.  TWe should support Bryant Street businesses!
