Greetings,
Our community, though seemingly small, uses the global network to
communicate here in the group.
Our access to this group may potentially be threatened.
The free access that we 'currently' have, could be
restricted, if large Internet Service Providers are allowed to
selectively filter content, relative to how they see the potential for
profit, based on that filtering.
Currently:
Comcast is being investigated by the FCC for
allegedly filtering content, and has also allegedly been
caught trying to
block access to the public hearing by paying people to fill
seats.

Supporting
"Net Neutrality" comes down to making it known to your political
representatives that you want the large ISPs to not be allowed
to be selective about what they allow you to access on the internet.
~ Please take the time to make your voice heard.~
Thank you,
Stephen A. Karl

"Network Neutrality" from Wikipedia: (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Network_neutrality )
(equivalently
"net neutrality", "Internet neutrality" or "NN") refers to a
principle that is applied to
residential broadband networks, and potentially to all networks. Precise
definitions vary, but a broadband network free of restrictions on the kinds of
equipment that may be attached, on the modes of communication allowed, that does
not restrict content, sites, or platforms and where communication is not
unreasonably degraded by other communication streams would be considered neutral
by most observers.
