Now for the bad news--------->   

I'm sorry to announce there will be no beer sales at Bryant Street Market  :(

 

I am forgoing the beer license for a number of reasons, first and foremost:

I have been tabbed to resurrect a 118 year old market in the Mexican War Streets.

This is a once in 10 lifetimes opportunity for me to open another store in a great neighborhood. It has always been a true old school corner store, and was just too good of a project to pass on.(Plus, I live over there, so that helps too).

There were a number of other reasons for passing on the beer license, but in fairness to everyone involved, I'll just leave it at that.

Ultimately though, I just don't have the mental and physical capacity to do both a new store and the beer license all at the same time.

Bryant Street Market is NOT going anywhere. My goal, has been and still is to buy the building at 5901 Bryant.
