Similar to Peleton, more affordable option. I bought this bike during the pandemic and realized I didn't like using a bike for exercise. This is barely used. Similar to Peleton with classes on the monitor. Big difference is that classes are not live, and you don't need clip-on shoes (but you can use them). There are tons bike classes as well as floor, yoga, stretching, etc. Heart rate monitor included to track your progress. Hello Highland Park Neighbors, We need your help weeding the Highland Park Entrance Gardens. In addition to regular upkeep, every other Thursday, the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy is here to continue to make our Park beautiful for us to enjoy our yoga classes, dance classes, Zumba, walks and picnics. It is a huge task and they need volunteer help. Please come, this Thursday, anytime between 5-7 PM. You can stay as long as you are able and do what your are able. Flowers in Highland Park Fountain

Hello Neighbors, I have been seeing a lot of people and kids throwing away flowers in the Highland Park fountain. I also requested their parents to Not let the kids inside the fountain as there is a sign which clearly states that. However, all those efforts went in vain and I still see a bunch of kids inside the fountain without any adult supervision. I was wondering if there is anything that we can do about it? Thanks Sam

Seminary plan for 6-story apartment building

The HPCC recently learned that the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary's new draft master plan includes a new 6-story apartment building at the corner of N. Sheridan and East Liberty Blvd. The HPCC supports many of the goals and other elements in the proposed master plan, but we are concerned that this building does not fit the scale of the adjacent residential properties. There was limited public engagement on the plan over two years ago and now it is going before the Planning Commission. Although the Seminary is in East Liberty, it is directly adjacent to the Highland Park neighborhood. We are distributing this information to ensure that neighbors in both East Liberty and Highland Park are aware of this proposal and can submit testimony about it, if they choose. If the plan is approved by the Planning Commission, it’s our understanding that the Seminary will be able to move forward with this building without additional public input.
