Well, maybe not. But we’ve put a bunch of free stuff in front of our place for y’all: mainly furniture (bookshelves, coffee tables, floor lamps) and kid’s stuff (lots of kid’s books, from baby books to first readers to elementary). St. Andrew's Episcopal Church invites our neighbors in Highland Park to help us provide 75 backpacks for children attending The Neighborhood Academy (TNA) in Stanton Heights. This school supports students in grades 6-12 from low income families with a rigorous college prep program. All seniors apply to college and 100% have been accepted. We are asking for donations of the items below by Saturday August 14. Since we want each of the students to get the same items in their backpacks, please only donate the items listed. * Three ring binder (1 1/2 or 2 inch) *Package of binder subject dividers *Package of pens (black and retractable) *Package of pencils *Yellow Highlighters *Pack of index cards (100, 3x5) Help us make a difference in the life of a TNA student. All donations can be dropped off on the porch of St. Andrew's. There will be bins on the Rectory that will be taken inside nightly. Local llama manure

Hi neighbors, My parents live on a farm with llamas outside of the city, where I grew up. The llamas produce fantastic garden fertilizer - the local newspaper once quoted someone as saying, "it was like the lord reached down and touched my garden". It can be put on anytime; doesn't hurt existing plants. They are selling it for $10 per 25lb bag, with the proceeds going to charity. Looking for used packing foam

I’ve an odd request. You know when you get a new piece of electronic equipment, maybe other things too, it often is wrapped in a thin sheet of a white foam. The stuff is quite thin, like 1/8” or so. Well, I need about 18” x 20” worth of it. Used pieces collected while unwrapping something would be perfect. I’m going to be glueing it down onto a board as a form of padding. I’d love to recycle this stuff from someone’s unpacking, rather than try and buy some. If you’ve got any or get any, can you let me know?
