Updated info on filming in the neighborhood this week

Please see the following update on this week's filming schedule: We’re very excited to be filming a new MGM Studios/Shirley Productions feature film titled “What If?” in the Pittsburgh area this summer, specifically in your neighborhood. We will be filming on the 5800 block of Elgin Street on the following dates: August 18th, 19th, and 20th. The majority of our work will be within a private residence. We will be clearing some parking areas to appear on camera, and parking our work vehicles on the streets surrounding our filming, which we have permitted through the City. Please note the following parking and intermittent traffic restrictions during our work: • N. St Clair St. from Ionic Way to Azimuth Way; Aug. 18th – 20th, NO PARKING on the East side of the street. • N. Euclid Ave. from Bryant St. to Callowhill St.; Aug.18th – 20th, NO PARKING on both sides of the street. • Elgin St., from the middle of the 5700 block, all of the 5800 block, to the middle of the 5900 block, NO PARKING on either side of the street from August 18th - 20th. • During our filming from August 18th - 20th, we will be intermittently holding traffic for up to 5 minutes at a time on Elgin street near the intersections of Mellon, N. Euclid, Callowhill, and Bryant. All NO PARKING areas will be posted before the restrictions begin. Residents will have access to and from their homes at all times. Approximate Filming Times: • Wednesday, August 18th: 7:00am – 8:00pm • Thursday, August 19th: 10:30am – 11:30pm • Friday, August 20th: 12:30pm - 1:30am (Saturday) Our cast and crew understand that we are guests in your community, and our priority is to give you the utmost respect and care. Kitchenaid Food processor parts

My cobalt blue Kitchenaid food processor circa 1995 finally died - I somehow seized the motor. I have however multiple attachments: two shredding discs (one slices on the other side), a dough hook, an adapter post. The top and feed tube still works, but the body/11-cup bowl of the processor is frozen onto the base with the standard chopping blade. You are absolutely welcome to take all and see if you can fix it (I could not). But if you have a similar model food processor, you may want the shredding blades and dough blade. Movie Shoot on Elgin Street

Hi All, Just a heads up that later this week (August 6, 9, and 17 - 20), the crew filming the new Billy Porter production, "What If?", will be finishing up shooting in the neighborhood; post production strike/clean-up may continue through Aug 26. Parking and traffic (including foot traffic) will be impacted intermittantly on Elgin between N. Euclid and Mellon, plus one block north and south of Elgin on N. Euclid and N. St. Clair. The production team should have already notified residents of these blocks of the specific parking and traffic limitations. Some production vehicles will be parked in the parking lot east of the park entry gardens, but the majority of the vehicles will be based in East Liberty. [Free] Very Large, Slightly Imperfect Blackout Roller Shade

I have an extra blackout roller shade for a very large window. Shade measures about 101 inches across and 49 inches high. Comes with a 4” valance in matching fabric and also all mounting hardware. The color is almost black, but not quite and it does have a very subtle texture to it. It has a stainless steel pull chain on the left-hand side. The back is white vinyl and some of it came off on the front fabric during manufacturing, so there is a row of white marks down the middle of the shade (see pic). The company is sending a replacement, but said we didn’t have to return this one. Main picture is of the shade installed without the valance. Free if you can use it! Pick up from our house in Morningside. The box is not heavy, but it is very long.
