>From the Office of Community Affairs: We have decided to push back the application deadline for Civic Leadership Academy. Applications will now be accepted until September 5th at Midnight. We are still accepting applications for the Mayor’s Civic Leadership Academy Fall 2021 cohort. We would really love to see more people apply for this amazing, wonderful, program! For a quick refresher, the Civic Leadership Academy is a free, virtual, 11-week course that encourages more informed community leadership by giving City residents an opportunity to learn about their local government. Classes are available for any resident living within City of Pittsburgh limits and to business owners who operate within the City of Pittsburgh. To apply, please visit applycla.pittsburghpa.gov. Learn more about the Civic Leadership Academy at pittsburghpa.gov/oca/cla. Residents are encouraged to view recordings of the most recent sessions of virtual Civic Leadership Academy on YouTube. This cohort will be mostly virtual, but some sessions will be offered in-person for a hands-on experience. COVID-19 CDC guidelines will be followed at all times. Ruggable rug and pad for sale

8x10 Ruggable rug and pad - see photo for colors The best part about Ruggables is that they can go in your washing machine and dryer. This one has been freshly washed and only used for about a year. We do have cats but like I said it has been washed. I purchased it off of Zulily for $260 asking $100. 8x10 Ruggables typically cost over $400.00 with a classic pad. It’s a thinner rug with a thin pad but great if you have pets and in high traffic areas. The pad is also waterproof so if you have wood floors they won’t get damaged if something is spilled or a pet has an accident. We’ve switched all of our area rugs to Ruggables. 😊.
