Hello my name is Selah Halfhill. I am 15 years old and I am looking to help with medically fragile, and special needs children. Because I myself had a heart transplant at 18 days old. I have three years of babysitting experience and was a mothers helper from ages 10-12. Because of other commitments and traveling this summer, my time is limited. Therefore I am not looking to be paid but would like to do this voluntarily to help families and get more experience. I am available to help 2-3 hours each day a couple of days a week. Dog scuffle Sunday morning at reservoir

Hello neighbors, I am trying to get in touch with the gentleman who was walking two dogs Sunday (6/15) morning around the HP reservoir. The dogs were on *retractable* leashes that he lost control of and ran to my dog who was on leash with a brief scuffle taking place. After regaining control of his dogs, the white one slipped out of it's collar and came running back to us. The dogs appeared to be pit mixes with one being predominantly white and the other predominantly brown. The gentleman is black, 40ish and was very kind, apologetic and concerned about my dog who at the time i thought was only scared and not injured. Unfortunately after arriving home for awhile we noticed she had a puncture wound. I would like to get in contact with the owner and if he reached out to me or if you know how i could get in touch with him that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Kind regards, Kevin

Public Transit is a lifeline for many in our neighborhood and throughout our city, but it is now in jeopardy.
