Sharing for one of our former babysitters, who reached out to us in need of temporary home for her cat. I know Highland Park has many animal lovers and thought this would be a great place to post as she is in a difficult housing situation and needs help asap. Below is her message and number. Hello my name is Patty, Thank you for taking the time to read this message. I have a beautiful female cat named Sidney (after Sidney Poitier). Unfortunately, I'm in an emergency housing situation and I need someone to look after her until next Saturday/ Sunday. I don't want to surrender her. It would break my heart to lose her, just b/c I could not find someone to look after her in this brief interim. She's 4 years old. She's healthy, vaccinated, and spayed. She doesn't need special food etc. She eats regular dry cat food which I can supply. She's quiet. She doesn't yowl-she only chirps and trills. Hello, this is Margaret, I just recently posted about cleaning houses but I also have news about my other business, Ugandan Craft Market <http://ugandancraftmarket.com>. Years back I used to have a space at the Farmers' Market Co-op of East Liberty (the indoor one next to Home Depot), and now I'm back! My daughters and their friend are helping me and we will be there (almost) every Saturday morning from 7:30 AM to noon! I sell baskets, hand bags, table mats, jewelry and other hand-made crafts from my home country of Uganda. I then take the profits and invest them back into paying for school tuition for kids back home in Africa. [image: image.png] The Farmers' Market Co-op of East Liberty <https://farmersmarketcooperativeofeastliberty.com/> is the indoor market located next to the Home Depot Garden Center. It's the oldest farmers market in Western Pennsylvania - it's been there since July 5th, 1941! The market's hours are year round from 5:00 A.M. to noon, but that's too early for me, I usually show up around 7:00 or 7:30 and stay until they start to close up around noon. Margaret
