[Highland Park] Porch carpeting

Can anyone recommend someone to install carpeting on a front porch? It is a wooden porch and we also need a few slats of wood replaced. We have carpeting on it now, but it needs to be replaced. We would like to have this done before the really cold weather sets in! Thanks so much. Kathi

Hello everyone, I sent out the following alert via the Citizen Observer. Three armed robberies have occurred in the Friendship area. November 6, 2007 @ 9:00 pm Graham/Harriett: Male suspect approximately 5'9" wearing a tan carhart jacket pulled a gun on victim and demanded money. November 7, 2007 @ 4:40 pm Mathilda/Paper Way: Two black male suspects, one wearing a green puffy jacket/red bandana and one wearing a black coat with fur trim pulled a silver pistol and demanded money. November 7, 2007 @ 9:30 pm Penn/Evaline: Two black male suspects, one wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, the other dark jeans, a white/green sweatshirt with red designs and a black bandana grabbed the victim, put a knife to her throat and then "snatched" her purse. FOR SALE: Beautiful custom solid oak Mission style desk with hutch (see photos). Features include verticle CPU storage with built-in cd storage, two locking drawers for hanging files, three mail slots, two glass door cabinets, and two small halogen task lights. MEASUREMENTS: 68'' l x 35" w x 72" h. The key to the file drawers has gone missing, but I am sure you could get a locksmith to replace them, if needed. The only other "defect" worth mentioning is the cork board beneath the hutch is a little damaged. This could be replaced very easily and cheaply! Otherwise, the desk is in great condition. We'd love to keep this desk but it's just too big for our home office. PRICE: The desk came with our house. We did a little searching and found that similar styles sell for over $1,600. We will part with ours for $800 (or best reasonable offer). We have partially disassembled the desk and it is ready to be picked up.
