Dear Highland Park Residents - I received our water/sewer bill this week, only to find that there had been a 16% increase approved by the City of Pittsburgh, which I had no knowledge of. My bills on this end have increased over 200% since moving into our house here in 2002. In the Highland Park Community Council's mailbox there was a flyer this week telling of Informational Meetings being held by Alcosan, which is the sewer portion of your PWSA Bill each month. I will be out of the country, thus not able to attend, but am interested on what they are planning to do, as well as where this money is going. I hope some of you might be able to attend one of these, as well as get back to the List Serve as to what news there might be.
