Hello! My daughter's girl scout troop ordered extra girl scout cookies to sell. If anyone is interested in purchasing some, we will deliver them to your home. The boxes are $3.50 each. Dear Friends and Neighbors, You have a neighborhood Brownie Girl Scout Troop that meets on alternating Wednesdays at St. Andrew's on Hampton Street. It is now COOKIE TIME! We are raising money to go on an overnight horsebackriding trip. Cookies will be for sale at the Giant Eagle Market District on Centre on Saturday, March 6 from 1:30-4:30 and again at St. Andrew's parish hall on Sunday March 7, from 12:00-1:00. To those of you who ordered cookies and have not yet received them, a delivery was attempted last weekend. There will be one more attempt this Saturday. We need to get these criminals off the street.

I found a program from the 2009 Urbanna Conference with notes and a New Testament lying in the road on Bryant Street near the intersection with Sheridan yesterday (Thursday, 2/25.) Attached to the program was a nametag for Rebecca Odegaard. The program and Bible are dry and in usuable shape, so let me know if you (Rebecca or whoever) would like them back. More (cryptic) info can be found here. ---------------------- EBA, 28X AMONG 16 BUS ROUTES IMPACTED BY DOWNTOWN CONSTRUCTION Pittsburgh, PA, March 1, 2010 -- Several routes will use temporary stops in Downtown due to construction work at Smithfield & Seventh Avenue starting Monday, March 1, at 7 p.m. The work will close one of two lanes on Seventh Avenue near its intersection with Smithfield Street -- alongside the Chamber of Commerce Building. The lane will be closed between Smithfield and William Penn Place. All bus stops in this area will be discontinued and temporary stops will be served. The work will impact 14 Port Authority routes, including the EBA, 28X Airport Flyer and 33x West Busway All Stops. Also, Westmoreland Transit Route 4 and the Myers' Coach Lines - Butler/Pittsburgh Commuter will be impacted by the work. The changes are scheduled to last about five months. So...I was hoping to post and find another hair stylist who likes working in homes! I am more than willing to pay well.
