Neighbors: There has been a skinny light yellow/tan long hair cat hanging around the corner of Heberton and Jackson Street for the last few days. It is very sweet and affectionate, and has wanted to come in the house. We would have let it, except for our dog. Let us know if this is your cat. [Highland Park] orange cat

I am sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings, but an orange cat was hit and killed by a car in the 900 block of N. Highland Avenue. A passerby moved the remains to the sidewalk in front of my house (923 N. Highland), and my neighbor informs me that the city will come tomorrow to remove them if they are still there. [Highland Park] Foster kitty looking for a home

Hi neighbors, I'm fostering a seven or so month old kitten for Animal Friends. He is black and very good looking, neutered, tested, and up to date on his shots. He came to me as a semi-feral, and I've been working on socializing him. He is still shy, but has come a long way, and is looking for a patient, understanding home. He loves other cats, enjoys the cat teaser, plays with feet under the covers, and sleeps with me, but it still nervous about being approached. I think he will come along in a loving home, especially with other cats. Animal Friends requires an application for potential adopters. There is usually an adoption fee, but I plan to sponsor this adoption so there would be no charge. Please let me know if you are interested in finding out more about this little boy! Meg
