Greetings Neighbors, I wanted to fill you in with a few gig I have this weekend... Tonight! Friday Aug. 27 from 8:30-12:30 I will be at Little E's Jazz Club, downtown Liberty Blvd. the club is located above Mahoney's Bar/across from the August Wilson Center-Jeff Grubbs on Bass, Daniel May on Piano, Tom Wendt on Drums Saturday Night Aug 28- I will be singing a duo with Daniel May on Piano at Hambones in Lawrenceville on Butler St. 8-11pm, Don't forget about Sunday last ROJ concert for the season. Jazzology-a collection of the regions jazz educators come together to play. Universities represented, Duquesne, CMU, Slippery Rock, WV Wesleyan. 5-7pm! Also...exciting news, Andys at Fairmont Pittsburgh will be launching a jazz series four night per week starting in September...more details later! I am writing a book on Saving Our Public LIbraries. While it started because of my concern about local libraries, the book is nationwide in focus since many libraries throughout the nation are at risk these days. I want to talk to some home schoolers about the importance of public libraries to them. Also wanted to find out the best national home schooling organization to contact. Hi, neighbors. Last month, I almost sold my car, but PAT eliminated my bus route as of Sept. 5, so I kept the car. This month, I find myself with a September Zone 1 bus pass I cannot use, because it was ordered through an employee benefits program and by the time I found out the bus wasn't running for me in September, it was too late to cancel the September pass; the order had already gone through. If anyone can use a Zone 1 September pass, I'd be happy to sell you mine for $70. (I paid $80.) Give me a call. Asking $8,200 2000 Nissan Maxima GLE (car belonged to my parents, we have original window sticker) 75,000 miles Inspected until July 2011 * Brand new front brake rotors and pads * Full oil service recently performed * Mechanically perfect, motor and transmission smooth like brand new, no rattles at all * Interior is Perfect, Exterior showing some age * Bose CD, Cassette, Radio * Leather seats This car belonged to my parents from new; all services were done on schedule by the dealership. The Maxima drives sounds and runs like a brand new car with no rattles or squeaks. The exterior has some scratches, but nothing ever had to be repaired (happy to provide VIN if you drive the car and are interested and want to check carfax). Just got inspected ? good until July 2011. Front brake rotors and pads are brand new. This is a very good car seeking a good home.
