The August Wilson Center for African American Culture is teaming up with E2 (Squared) for the restaurant's grand opening. Have dinner on Friday, September 17, between 5:30 and 6:30 pm and you will hear Trumpeter Sean Jones, artistic director of the Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra, and another PJO member play. For people who have purchased dinner, they will receive a FREE ticket to the PJO concert on Saturday. Other ticket discounts will be offered as well! With entertainment! Adults $6, Children $4 (Family Max. $20). All Welcome! Sunday Morning, September 19 We will welcome as Guest Preacher at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. services the Rev. Philip Wainwright, Church Historian now completing his Ph.D at the University of Kent, Canterbury, and recently retired Rector of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Brentwood. At the 10 a.m.-10:45 a.m. hour-between-the-services "Coffee and Conversation" gathering in Brooks Hall Fr. Wainwright will present an introduction to the St. Andrew's Fall Adult Series, "Exploring our Anglican DNA." The series in intended in part to help us in our preparation for study of the proposed Anglican Covenant next spring. Again, All Welcome! Sunday Afternoon, September 19, 4:30 p.m. Our first "Third Sunday of the Month" service of Choral Evensong, a beautiful service in the tradition of choir offices in the great Cathedrals of the Church of England. The St. Andrew's Schola Cantorum, under the direction of Peter J. Luley, will sing canticles set to music composed by C.V. Stanford (1852-1924) and the traditional Sentences set to music composed by Richard Ayleward (1626-1669). The anthem, Thou Wilt Keep Him, is a composition of Samuel Sebastian Wesley (1810-1876). The organist for the service is Dr. Alastair Stout, Organist and Director of Music, the United Methodist Church of Coraopolis. Guest Preacher at this Sunday's service will be the Rev. [Highland Park] Found: Female Rotweiler

We found a female rotweiler behind our house on Chislett St. in Morningside this morning around 10am. She has a flea and tick collar but no tags. We will be taking her to the Animal Rescue League 412-661-6452 later today where hold her for 3 days before putting her up for adopt. Our featured speaker will be Mr. Jeffrey Dorsey from the Union Project; he will be sharing with us regarding this last year's activities and accomplishments, as well as the Union Project's goals for the upcoming year.
