Dear neighbors, First of all I wanted to thank all of you who ordered Christmas trees; it was great to meet so many wonderful neighbors. Spring is close. The first bloom of the year has arrived on our Witch Hazel shrub. I am looking to fill the last few weeks of this marginal weather with tree pruning, maintenance, or tree removal. If my Witch Hazel has an accurate weather forecast, I should be digging trees in my nursery the last week of March. So, if anyone is interested in any larger sized flowering and ornamental trees let me know. I have been in the horticulture industry for over 15 years. My services cover most outdoor aspects including high-end landscape design, installation, and maintenance; hardscapes and excavation; tree care and removal; and turf management. [Highland Park] Update on found orange cat

Dear Neighbors, Here is an update on the orange cat we found on Saturday night (Feb. 12) in the Negley/Callowhill area. We keep him overnight - he was happy to be with people, eat, and have a rest. He was very affectionate. We took him to the Animal Rescue League Sunday afternoon. He is an unchipped, neutered male. They will keep him for 72 hours for the purposes of finding his owner. After that, his temperament and health will be evaluated, and if he passes all checks, he'll be put up for adoption. Dawn
