[Highland Park] Roofer wanted for big job

All, I have a 6 bedroom house (30 square) in highland park with slate roof and I need a new shingle roof. Here are my thoughts/ criteria so far, I would appreciate any input: 1. I feel like I need a medium to big company for this size job, my past experiences with roofers was for smaller projects and although I had good experiences with them, a few of them have declined because of size. Can any anyone recommend any good medium to big companies? I will meet with Likar and Josiwitch, are there others? 2. Someone recommended Derek Ames, does anyone have experiences with him good or bad they could share? Someone also thought Emmanuel Taylor might be good? 3. I definitely want to hire a roofing company, not a gc who will sub it out, so I would appreciate only roofing company recommendations. 4. I already know I can't afford a Rick Johns type company, I'm not looking for the Cadillac company, rather the VW golf roofing company. Thank you, Your Neighbor Sent from my iPhone

Large Amana AC unit, most likely 12,000 BTU, possibly more. Aprox. dimensions: 28.5” Wide 18.75” Tall 24” Deep It works well. I have a smaller Amana that is capable of cooling my whole 3rd floor which is one room the size of the house. It’s in my garage and a car can be driven right up to the garage door. I’ll help you load it into your vehicle. It fit on the front passenger seat of my Mazda Protégé 4 door when I got it. My husband, Mark, is offering a class on using spreadsheets--the class will be held right in East Liberty at the Green House. He really is a spreadsheet-whisperer. If you have any need for help with spreadsheets, sign up! Here's the info: Spreadsheets for Beginners Class Need to use a spreadsheet but don't know where to begin? Scared you might "mess up" some data? Want to efficiently organize your contacts, mailing lists, finances, or other important information? Our new class, Spreadsheets for Beginners, can help. We'll introduce the basics of spreadsheet use, including design, navigation, simple formulas, graphs, and error checking-- not to mention lots of tips and tricks. The instructor, Mark Dixon, is a graduate of Stanford University who literally *thinks* in spreadsheets and loves to make the topic fun-- and he's a happy Highland Park resident.
