Howdy HP'ers, I am organizing a benefit for the HPCC / YARD SALE / BRYANT STREET FESTIVAL. 1ST ANNUAL CELEBRATE BRYANT STREET TO BENEFIT THE HPCC.......LABOR DAY WEEKEND, FRIDAY AUGUST 31- MONDAY SEPTEMBER 3RD. [Highland Park] Two wonderful, indoor-outdoor cats

I am posting this for a friend: I have been unsuccessful finding a home for my two wonderful, indoor-outdoor cats Charlotte and Scout and I'm down to the wire. This appeal is urgent because I am leaving on Saturday night for my journey to Rowanda to work as a medical missionary for 1+ year. Both cats are 5 years old, spayed, not litter mates but adopted together as kittens from Animal Rescue League, in great health and up to date with all immunizations. Charlotte (the calico) is affectionate whereas Scout is more aloof but when she chooses to be affectionate you know you've been honored. They have lived with a pet door and roamed at will their whole lives so I'm hoping they can continue to enjoy that level of independence. While it would be nice if they could remain together, I know each would be fine on their own if anyone is interested in adopting separately. One or both cats can lbe picked up in Morningside on Villanova Rd.
