Hi neighbors, I'm not sure if it's totally cool to post this sort of thing, but I'm pretty excited about it so here I go.... I launched a Kickstarter campaign last week to raise funds for my 4th album, "Chrysalis". I'm taking pledges and pre-orders, starting at $5, and I wanted to share the news with the list! Hello neighbors! I am looking for a place to rent asap. I am ready to move in in August but would still be interested in viewing anything available for September too. I would really love to stay in the neighborhood, but I am also looking at Morningside, Point Breeze, Regent Square areas. I need at least 3 BR, ideally a house/townhouse or duplex with a yard. A garage would be great OR a basement. My price range goes up to 1200/month, but can be flexible depending on utilities included or not. We only have 1 cat and he is very clean. [Highland Park] seeking advice on middle schools/jr. high

I have a friend with a 6th grade daughter who's just relocated to the city and is trying to figure out what are the strongest middle schools. Her daughter has particular interest in science, history & culture. I don't have kids so I'm not familiar with the system. Any advice from parents on what public schools have a good reputation?
