We are looking for a stroller to buy/rent/borrow for a couple of trips before the end of summer. Our 42 lb 4 year old still uses an umbrella stroller occasionally, but our basic umbrella stroller will probably bite the dust if we push it for a week of sightseeing. If you have a heavier duty stroller that can carry a heavier child that you are thinking about parting with (if only temporarily), please let me know!

[Highland Park] School Greenspace - Volunteers Needed!

Volunteer help is needed in maintaining the trees at Dilworth Elementary and the garden and outdoor classroom at Fulton Elementary. Tasks include watering and light weeding. The greenery was installed through the School Grounds Greening Project, a partnership of the Western PA Conservancy, the Grable Foundation, and Pittsburgh Public Schools. We provide supplies! The Hot Club of Pittsburgh "The Flying Dutchmen" are performing gypsy jazz once again this Saturday July 28 at the Backstage Lounge 655 Penn Ave. (downtown) 5:00 - 7:30.
