Great Horned Owl Sighting

High up in our pin oak along Jackson St. At first it was hunched over, half-hidden by branches (probably eating something.) I thought it might be squirrels having a romantic rendezvous. Then I saw wings and it started hopping from branch to branch--way too big to be a hawk! Finally it flew off low over rooftops towards the Park and I saw the big, boxy shape. Our filled bird feeder must have brought it into our yard. Richard K.
