*From PWSA:* The Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority is hosting a series of Water Workshops <https://www.pgh2o.com/news-events/news/press-release/2024-05-14-pwsa-announ…> to engage with residents and build greater awareness and confidence in the water services we provide. These workshops will provide a variety of ways for attendees to connect with PWSA staff and learn about the process and rigorous testing essential to the production and distribution of high-quality drinking water. Each section is broken into the following three sections. Recognizing that everyone learns differently, this format offers an interactive way to participate. Food and ASL interpretation will be provided. 1. *Explore*: Attendees will have a chance to explore information about water services at their own pace. Here they can interact with storyboards about the water treatment process and distribution system, participate in hands on water quality experiments, and take part in a blind taste test of PGH2O tap water vs. bottled water. 2. *Learn*: Frank Sidari, Chief Environmental Compliance and Ethics Officer, will give the main presentation providing an overview of PWSA, the water treatment process, and organizational priorities. He’ll also share some of PWSA’s history and touch upon the differences between treated and bottled water. 3. *Engage*: Attendees can participate in facilitated table discussions and have an opportunity to ask our water quality experts questions about the treatment process, distribution system and projects in their neighborhood. *Schedule* Each workshop is posted at www.pgh2o.com/events-meetings. The attached flyer explains all the costs, if any. *There will be free food, leashes and collars..until they run out*. Last year's event had a small turnout. I am hoping you will help promote the event in the community. The free shots include rabies, DHPP: for distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus and parainfluenze, Feline FVRCP is for your kitten to protect them from life threatening viruses. The Allegheny River Blvd Preservation Association <https://www.arbpa.org/> has been working to restore that road, which was built as part of the City Beautiful Movement and was named as one of America's 10 Most Endangered Scenic Byways by Scenic America. Although they've been at it for a while, they recently hit a major fundraising goal and are having their first public meeting on their new preservation management plan on Thursday. Tile cutter

I’m looking to borrow a very portable tool tile cutter for a few hours; either a hand tile cutter or a table-top manual tile cutter (not a wet motorized saw). I need to cut a few bathroom floor tiles that are 6 mm thick to make their edges curved DIY craft project. Or else make them into small triangles that fit into a curve if only a straight line cut is possible. Thanks. Susan

Has anyone installed LeafFilter? I'm considering it. Do they work ok on box gutters? They also install k-gutters which I have on the back. Should I use them or some other company? Thanks, Irina
