Dear Neighbors, We are so impressed by our neighbors efforts to donate for our last collection, as we picked up the much needed items from many of our neighbors, and delivered them to NRP, where they were gratefully appreciated !!! We are again letting our neighborhood know that we, Mike and Brigette Nadler, will be driving the neighborhood picking up for the monthly NRP (Formally FOCUS) Collection this coming Wednesday, 23 OCT 24. We will be around the neighborhood starting at 9:00 AM that morning, collecting non-perishable food to restock their pantry, as their stock is very low, as well as useable Clothing that is clean and sorted. Thanksgiving potluck

Hi, Neighbors, We would like to reach out to those of you who may have nowhere to go this Thanksgiving. Perhaps you have no family here or cannot get home this year. I like to include anyone who has nowhere else to go as Marty and I have been there many times. We are hosting a Thanksgiving potluck on Thursday November 28, 2024 at 6:00 pm. The potluck will have a mixture of interesting non-traditional as well as traditional Thanksgiving food. So we'd like to coordinate what everyone is bringing so that all bases are covered. We’ll make a turkey breast. Our philosophy about Thanksgiving: It's a time to be thankful for all of your blessings, including all of the people in your life. We'll eat as soon as everyone arrives (after taking a few minutes to share what we are thankful for) and then perhaps we'll play some games after dinner with those who wish to stay. ***To attend, you must have received your updated for 2024 Covid vaccine (or have recovered from Covid recently) by November 14, 2024*** If you are interested, please RSVP (yes or maybe) so we will know how many to expect.
