For the past three months -- maybe more but I've lost count -- I've been complaining to the New York Times about how inconsistently the paper has been delivered. We've gotten it late morning or late afternoon; if we get it at all. Months ago when I first called them they'd say they'll have it redelivered. But that didn't happen. Now when I complain I tell them to credit my account. I've now done that more times than I can count. Yesterday's paper was finally delivered today. This month we went away for two weeks, so I canceled the paper. It was delivered for at least a week while I was away. And on my return it wasn't reinstated until after several calls. I guess I just wanted to vent. But is anyone else having this problem? I can't believe that my street is the only one dealing with this problem. Is it time for me to drop print and go digital? :(

Here's a summary of what we are looking for: - Move in 7/1 or 7/15 (but could be somewhat flexible for THE Perfect Place) - Budget is $1800/mo - House/townhouse/condo preferred rather than apartment - Ideally in Squirrel Hill or East End (incl Point Breeze, Highland Park, Morningside, etc.) with close access to highways/routes out of the city. Areas like Shadyside which are more central are less ideal for this reason. - 3 bedrooms, with dining room, extra storage space in basement, that kind of thing. Space. - No specific # of bathrooms requirements, but a tub is preferred to shower stalls - We have one cat - PLEASE be certain this is okay with you as we have had landlords walk back their acceptance of a pet - Some wall-to-wall carpeting could be OK but hard floors definitely much preferred - Central air - Laundry in unit - Some outdoor space (porch/balcony) is a must.
