Hello! My name is Sofia Sparks, I recently moved to Highland Park and am available as a nanny, babysitter, or tutor. I have 10+ years of experience working with children from infancy to middle school age, am up to date on all clearances (FBI, Child Abuse, and State), and have worked in both private and educational settings including Falk Laboratory School and the University Child Development Center. I love working with children of all stages and needs, whether through creative play, outdoor immersion, or homework help. I am advanced in English composition and various early elementary studies, as well as having proficiency and recent training in Algebras 1&2, French, Spanish, and some science areas. I have studied studio arts, film photography, and other areas that prioritize creative thinking and curiosity! My availability is flexible (full time student taking classes remotely) and I am happy to take on both recurring needs and one-timers. Stormwater Consultations

Hi all, As we are moving into a more wet time of year, I wanted to share that we at Fourth River offer services to deal with basement water and stormwater problems. Many of us in Highland Park have been dealing with wet basements and with excessive stormwater challenges during recent large storms, there are often more questions than answers. Fourth River consultations help homeowners understand the causes of basement and stormwater issues and what options you have to resolve your specific challenges. If professional services are needed to improve conditions we can provide an estimate for the work or suggest other specialists. Fourth River also reviews scope of work proposals to provide a valuable second opinion and peace of mind on larger projects. We have done many of these consultations and enjoy de-mystifying water problems for homeowners. It is great when the solution is easy and the homeowner can do it themselves. ISO perennials, perennial trade?

Hey neighbors, I'm starting to think about thinning out some of my perennials. Wondering if anyone is interested in some black eyed susans and lambs ear. Let me know and when I have them ready i'll get in touch with you. I also have tons of marigold seeds that i've been saving, if anyone would like some.
