Dance/ Exercise class

I walked the dog on Sunday evening around 7:30 or so, and there was an exercise/dance class going on that really looked fun! Does anyone have any information as to when this class is conducted? Water Issues?

Anyone around the 900 block of North St Clair having water issues? Turning on our water resulted in some strange noises and dirty water. it eventually cleared up but then happened again this morning. Just wondering if there is some work going on with the pipes around the neighborhood? -- j

honey for sale

Hello, I didn't want to step in on Joanna's turf, but since she's sold out of honey, I thought I would chime in that I am also a beekeeper and have honey available. It is $12/lb and I can bring it to your porch. Right now I have an abundance of spring honey that was harvested in July 2020. It is light colored and flavored by nectars from apple, cherry, walnut, clover, and Russian olive blossoms. In a couple weeks I will harvest my fall honey which is dark-colored and comprised of nectar from goldenrod and Japanese knotweed. All of my honey is raw and unprocessed. If you have canning jars to spare, I will discount your honey purchase in exchange for jars! Thank you, Shannon

Highland Park Reservoir: Student Survey

Hello, My name is Nicole Thompson and I am a part of a group of Civil Engineering students at the University of Pittsburgh working on our Senior Design Project. Our project goal is to improve the water quality and storage of the Highland Park Reservoir. This will involve designing a theoretical drinking water storage tank to be placed somewhere near the existing Highland Park Reservoir. To better understand how this might impact the community and users of Highland Park, we have created a survey! Super Playground Redesign - Community Workshop

HPCC Members, Friends and Neighbors, The Super Playground is the large wooden playground on Reservoir Drive. As many of you are aware, the playground was built by the community in 1991 and was designed to last 20 years. We've been able to extend its life a bit but it is now in need of a full replacement. The new playground will utilize the current playground’s footprint and will be designed and built with the same emphasis on creating a unique, creative playspace. The City, its designer Merritt Chase, and the HPCC are asking for your input through a public community design process this fall with actual construction starting next spring. We hope you will participate!
