Hello Everyone, This is a reminder that the Annual Highland Park Community Council Turkey Trot is happening this Thursday, November 28th at 9:30 AM! Unfortunately, the weather does not look like it will cooperate but we are still crossing our fingers and toes! This will be a weather dependent event, please register to get notified by 8:30 am whether it will still be happening. We will also post announcements on social media. Hi all, The Waldorf School of Pittsburgh hosts a winter fair every year and makes jump ropes with yarn. The school is out of brightly colored yarn and is looking for donations. Does anyone in HP have skeins of brightly colored yarn that they’d like to donate to the school? I’d be happy to take them off of your hands. For reference, the link below shows what the school is looking for. It’s best if the yarn is acrylic, smooth, and worsted weight. Please email me if you’d like to donate. Hello! I have a very special, very old indoor olive tree that is sick. Google hasn't been helpful, and I haven't found anyone locally who can help with house plants- not Plantscape, they only do businesses and special installations, and local greenhouses and plant shops haven't been interested.
