Thanksgiving potluck

Hi, Neighbors, We would like to reach out to those of you who may have nowhere to go this Thanksgiving. Perhaps you have no family here or cannot get home this year. I like to include anyone who has nowhere else to go as Marty and I have been there many times. We are hosting a Thanksgiving potluck on Thursday November 28, 2024 at 6:00 pm. The potluck will have a mixture of interesting non-traditional as well as traditional Thanksgiving food. So we'd like to coordinate what everyone is bringing so that all bases are covered. We’ll make a turkey breast. Our philosophy about Thanksgiving: It's a time to be thankful for all of your blessings, including all of the people in your life. We'll eat as soon as everyone arrives (after taking a few minutes to share what we are thankful for) and then perhaps we'll play some games after dinner with those who wish to stay. ***To attend, you must have received your updated for 2024 Covid vaccine (or have recovered from Covid recently) by November 14, 2024*** If you are interested, please RSVP (yes or maybe) so we will know how many to expect. Bags, Boxes, and Books

Hello, I have a large quantity of shopping bags kept from over the years, mostly paper with twine handles, that I'd be happy to part with. I also have a variety of small size boxes. I'd like to offer these to anyone in the neighborhood, as there could be many uses for these items that I never would have imagined. I've separated and labeled them into these categories: - Misc Sizes – Blank / No logos - Reusable – Cloth - Large – With logos - Medium – With logos - Small – With logos - Plastic – With logos - Small boxes - Gift boxes - Tubes - Cardboard wine carriers As if that wasn't enticing enough, you'll also find a stack of paperback books which offer outdated advice for some of life's big events. These will be on my front patio at 6052 Grafton Street as of Sunday morning. I will email the listserv in the unlikely event that these items are taken. I just found older dog meds while cleaning out a closet. My old dog died two years ago. They are free. Heartguard plus, 6 chewables. for 51-100 pound dogs. Expired May 2024 Frontline plus, 2 vials. 45-88 pound dogs. No expiration date.
