I have not followed up yet but here are the responses from my request for recommendations for gutter cleaners: 1. Joe George Window Cleaners: They did an excellent job and we thought they were worth the cost. They're probably not on the lowest end of the scale, but we found them here on this listserv. 2. Our next meeting will take place Tuesday, July 11 frm 6pm - 7:45pm at Kingsley Association, located at 6435 Frankstown Avenue in the Yoga Room, located on the third floor of the building. This month we will have trainings from Public Safety including: - CPR - AED (defibrillator) - Narcan - Stop-the-bleed - Stroke education These trainings do not result in an official certification, however they are still just as useful in an emergency. As always, there will be a light dinner provided for our meeting attendees. (message forwarded) In December 2022, The *Pittsburgh Food Policy Council (PFPC) and the Food Justice Fund (FJF) Committee *successfully campaigned for the City of Pittsburgh to establish a Food Justice Fund. *City Council designated $3 million to its 2023 budget to create the Fund.* Next week, the FJF Committee will submit its proposed plan for the grant program for City Council approval. *Once approved, we are one step closer to launching the first-round of grant funding designated to create community-led, equitable food systems and address food apartheid!* *See the attached flier for more information *on the the FJF program. Highland Park: St. Andrew's School Supply drive for The Neighborhood Academy

St. Andrew’s is once again partnering with both St. Michael’s of the Valley, Ligonier, and our neighbors in Highland Park to provide backpacks for students attending The Neighborhood Academy (TNA). This school in Garfield supports students in grades 6-12 from low-income families with a rigorous college prep program. All seniors apply to college, and 100% have been accepted. Please bring donations of new items below to the church by Sunday, July 30 and place them in the bin on the porch of the parish house.
