Yesterday, PWSA lifted the boil water advisory that had been in effect for several East End neighborhoods. They report that the water is now safe for normal use. Fermented Foods Workshop!

Hello Neighbors! It’s be so wonderful meeting several of you at our culinary medicine teaching kitchen workshops at Rebel Wellness. This Saturday night we have an awesome plant-based teaching kitchen workshop coming up with Mental health professional Blake Watterworth 4-6 pm. He and I will talk about the gut-brain connection and how our gut microbiome influences our mental and physical health. He will teach us about fermenting, we will make and enjoy tofu tacos, and take home 2 fermented foods that we will learn to make during the workshop, for future enjoyment! Tickets are $50 and include all groceries, culinary medicine education, a 2 hour workshop, cooking instruction, dessert and refreshments, and follow-up recipes.
