Stolen Prius catalytic converter

Sunday at 4am my catalytic converter was stolen from my 2009 Prius. I heard a loud scrap and ran to the window but they were gone in under 3 minutes. Thank you HPCC Playground Committee - the Super Playground is now OPEN!

If you haven't heard, the Super Playground is now open for play! I want to give a shout out to the HPCC's Playground Committee: Sabrina Culyba, Monica Watt, Mac Lynch, and Betsy Rogerson. For the past 18+ months, they spearheaded the community engagement process and worked with the city, its contractor, and the Pittsburgh Glass Center to craft a replacement for the beloved playground built by neighbors 30 years ago. They also organized the great grand opening ceremony / party on Saturday. The results are spectacular and will be a point of pride - and happy play! - for many, many years. Sabrina, Monica, Mac & Betsy deserve a hearty thanks for all of the hard work and time they dedicated to this project! Great job! Northbound Highland Park Bridge Ramp to Freeport Road CLOSING

PennDOT District 11 is announcing the long-term closure of the ramp from the northbound Highland Park Bridge to Freeport Road (Sharpsburg Exit) in Sharpsburg Borough, Allegheny County, will begin Monday, August 29 weather permitting. Beginning at approximately 6 a.m. on Monday, the ramp from northbound Highland Park Bridge to Freeport Road (Sharpsburg Exit) will close to traffic around-the-clock through early February 2023. Crews will conduct reconstruction work, bridge rehabilitation, and drainage improvements on the ramp. Have you seen our kitty

Our cat, momma or Lili, was last seen earlier today, Sunday, around 5:30-am. She recently adopted us with her 5 kittens. She's currently outdoor due to one kitten still being outdoors..... She always stays around our house.....comes running when called...... she 1 1/2 years old, 7 lbs, very trim build. Browns in coloring with a white patch on her belly. You may have heard about The Frick Pittsburgh's current exhibition, Romare Bearden: Artist as Activist and Visionary. Thanks to a generous donor, admission is now free for all through Sept. 4. Bearden was an alum of Peabody High School and lived with his grandparents here in Pittsburgh during part of his childhood. His colorful collage work is great for all ages!
