Free ceramic briquettes for a gas grill. Maybe you never heard of these or didn’t want to spend on them because they are quite expensive at nearly $30 for a bag. They distribute the heat and prevent grease flareups. This nearly full bag is available for the taking at no charge. If you take it, let me know so I can inform others it is no longer available. Find it in the driveway in the alley called Carmine Way (also known as Carnival way, depending if you are looking at Google Maps or a street sign) between Sheridan St and Collins St inHighland Park. That is half a block south of Stanton Ave at the border of Dilworth grade school.

Free: Lg Media cabinet (or use as wardrobe or office cabinet)

Rustic look pine cabinet is meant to be used as a media cabinet, possibly. It has a hole for passing wires through the rear. I used it to hide my office, with a small, 2-drawer metal filing cabinet on the left, a printer on the right, and in/out boxes on the top shelf. You could probably put a rod in there and using to hang clothes or hang those pocket organizer fabric shelves to make it a wardrobe. FREE. It’s on the first floor near the front door and my porch has 4 steps. It has a few dings that you could improve with a touch-up wood marker if you care. The top in the rear right corner has a significant dent, but that’s hard to see, especially if you put stuff on top. Did I say free? Shelf and drawers remove to make it lighter to remove. A dog grooming business has recently closed, and they have a bunch of dog crates that they want to get rid off. I do not know the sizes, but there are a few different ones. They are mostly plastic with wire grates for doors and small wire grates on the side. If you need a crate, let me know. They are very cheap, and they come with a little dog hair on them. Firing Range Use in August

The Police Department released its planned class schedule at the outdoor shooting range for August. Please see the attached schedule. Classes typically last 2.5 - 3 hours. Start times are military style (i.e., . 1500 start is 3 pm and 1800 start is 6 pm). The 10 classes in red are the evening classes. This will be a very significant increase in activity and noise, however, the Commander noted that they will get almost everyone trained during the month other than officers who are out because of injury or who require retraining.
