In addition, the Department of Public Works advises that refuse and recycling collection will be delayed one day. Individuals who have a scheduled collection on Monday will be serviced on Tuesday, May 31st. Those usually serviced Tuesday will be serviced Wednesday, and so on throughout the week. Normal Friday servicing will take place on Saturday, June 4. Residents are encouraged to place their refuse out for collection after 6:00 p.m. the night before their collection day as normal. Those with questions concerning collection may contact the Bureau of Environmental Services at 412-255-2773. CitiParks facilities with adjusted schedules are as follows: *Healthy Active Living Centers (Senior Centers)* - CLOSED—Monday, May 30 *Recreation Centers* - CLOSED—Saturday to Monday, May 28-May 30 *Mellon Park Tennis Center* - CLOSED CitiParks Spray Parks are *OPEN* Saturday, May 28, with operation hours of 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. As we celebrate and remember all of those who served our country, the City of Pittsburgh wishes you a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend. ### ------------------------------ . Moving permit question

Does anyone in our neighborhood know about getting a permit to save spaces for moving? I tried to go through Onestop Pgh and the process is not as easy as described. I remember when I moved here 9 years ago, there was someone who got me the moving space saver permit for a small fee. Is there anyone in HP who is still offering that service? Thanks. Hi- I am looking for kids to play tennis with my sons this summer. They are 10 (almost 11) and 12 years old with what I would call an intermediate level of experience (they took lessons for a couple years before the pandemic). Hi neighbors! It's Memorial Day Weekend - which means it's time to put the garden in! In case you are experiencing FOMOOT (fear of missing out on tomatoes), I've gotchu. I've got a large number of lovely organic heirloom tomato seedlings as well as some basil, garnet amaranth, and sweet peppers. Tomatoes include Granadero, San Marzano, Mortgage Lifter, Yellow Brandywine, Sun Gold, and Black Krim. They've been coddled, sung to, gently transplanted, and told that they'd find their forever homes. I also have a fair number of everbearing raspberries in pots. These suckers are hardy and vigorous (code for darn near invasive. They are the zombies of raspberries.) My eldest is trying hard to get into horticulture school, and anything you can donate in exchange for plants would be deeply appreciated. I'll be hanging out in my yard most of this weekend; email me to set up a time if it suits you best. Otherwise, knock on the door - 912 Farragut. thanks! Helen
