Hill, historian of African American missions and Black Internationalism, who teaches U.S. and African American history at the University of Texas at Dallas. Hill's research and teaching career has brought to light an often-neglected stream of mission history: African American missionaries sent by Protestant denominations to Africa. Her recent book is A Higher Mission: The Careers of Alonzo and Althea Brown Edmiston in Central Africa. Looking for Places that Accept Mattress Donations

Hi there, Does anyone know of a place that accepts mattress donations? I have a queen size mattress that has been used for several years that I'd like to donate. It is very clean and has no stains on it. It's still in very good, usable condition. It would be perfect for an individual or family in need, or perhaps a refugee family. If you have had it done, it would be nice to hear of your experience good or bad. If you have any good company recommendations or also ones to stay away from, it would greatly be appreciated. Free tan brick

I have a small amount of recovered tan brick from a construction project. It’s an unusual style for our neighborhood and I think it’s difficult to match with modern material. Some of it is broken and it needs cleaned, but it might be valuable for some repair/maintenance projects if you have the same style. Free, but needs to be removed by Sunday, Sept 12th.
