Dear Neighbors, We have tickets for a PSO performance at Hartwood Acres on Friday. We have never gone there, and my husband has mobility issues, so I was wondering if anyone could give me any tips. Specifically, I'm hoping to drop him and our chairs off, close to the audience area, and then go park the car. Does the setup allow that? Thanks for any advice you can give me. Diane

Free Daylillies

There are several clumps of daylilies in the alley between Chislett and Highview streets at Springer and Drake Ways.They are the orange ones, very healthy, ready for planting for next summer blooming. I had a 20 foot run of the daylilies and have removed most of them them to make room for other plants.They are in cardboard boxes, so with the rain, you may want to bring a drop cloth for transporting. The City Accelerator initiative competitively selects cities to receive flexible financial resources and technical expertise to test specific administrative, financial, political or cultural innovation efforts that produce stronger outcomes for residents and help cities run more efficiently, effectively, and equitably. The City of Pittsburgh is one of 10 U.S. cities participating in the inclusive procurement cohort and one of 27 U.S. cities that have been selected to participate in the City Accelerator since it started in 2014.
