Residents are urged to: - Avoid direct contact with others who do not live with you. - Make a cloth mask part of your costume, but do not substitute a costume mask for a cloth mask. - Bring hand sanitizer to use throughout trick-or-treating and wash your hands before eating any treats. - Follow distancing on sidewalks and when approaching homes. Stay at least 6 feet away from others outside of your household. - Wear reflective clothing and bring flashlights for visibility while trick-or-treating. does anyone know a company or contractor that can replace a window with one of those windows that sticks out a bit that you can put plants in it? i think it's called a garden window. i'm also looking for someone to replace two lousy kitchen windows with casements, if you have a window company you like. i've used Advanced Window and they were great! but not taking new projects. joy

I'm thinning out our siberian iris bed and have multiple clumps of roots with leaves that can be separated and replanted for beautiful deep blue Siberian irises in the Spring (photo us stock image and color is less purple and more blue in "real life". Given the rainy weather expected over the days ahead, please email if you're interested and we can arrange a time for you to come pick up from our garage so the dirt won't get washed off the root clumps.

Wheek Guinea Pig Rescue needs fosters and adopters

HELP NEEDED & UPDATES:Wheek Care is still in need of foster families, pregnancy watch fosters and socialization fosters. Email wheekcare2017(a)gmail.com for more info on fostering. Wheek Care is also overflowing with adoptable piggies including several baby girls who would be a great addition to any female pair or herd! We also have some “older and/or special needs pairs” available as permanent fosters. Please spread the word!! We are working hard to get all the adoptable pigs up on PetFinder but there are many that are not yet listed. We have faced an overwhelming amount of surrenders including several large emergency surrenders this year (15 this weekend alone 7 of which are pregnant or on pregnancy watch) bringing us to a current total of over 680 surrenders so far in 2021. Please email Wheek Care to inquire about available pigs. If you are currently fostering for Wheek Care, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts If you have decided to adopt your piggies, let us know so we can update our records.
