Find out at *Prepare to Vote*, a free, nonpartisan election information meeting, hosted by Congregation Dor Hadash this coming Wednesday night, October 13th, at 7pm on Zoom. Offices up for election include: Mayor of Pittsburgh Statewide judicial seats on the PA Supreme Court, Superior Court, and Commonwealth Court. Allegheny County judicial seats on the Court of Common Pleas Sheriff City Council Commonwealth Court retention The meeting will be hosted by Lara Putnam, Rich Weinberg, and Chris Miller. I have a bunch of tile stuff leftover from a project that I'm not going to need in the near future. Photos attached and descriptions below. Send an email if you're interested. - Chris T-lock tile leveling/anti-lippage system supplies (prices below, but $50 for all): - 1/16" clips $20 ($40 new) - 1/8" clips - bag is about one-third full.$5 ($40 new) - wedges - mostly a full bag but many have been used. Wedges work with any of the associated clips. $10 ($30 new) - installation pliers $20 ($40 new) Kerdi supplies: (prices below - $15 for all) - trowel. $10 (~$25 new) - shower pipe seal, $5 - screws - mostly full box, needed a few to finish. $5 - misc pieces of kerdi joint tape. Good for covering screw holes. Free - All-set mortar. Just a little bit left. Not sure if its still good. Free. Misc tools: (prices below $15 for all) - grooved trowels $1 each - 1-3/8 diamond hole saw kit. Used for one hole, practically new. $10 - 1/2' diamond hole saw. brand new, just missed the return window. $5

Hello, neighbors! I'm reaching out again on behalf of Jailbreak, an autonomous group of Pittsburghers providing free support to people inside or coming out of Allegheny County Jail and other PA prisons. Thank you for your incredible generosity in response to our previous two appeals. Unfortunately, the nature of this work is that even when we’re able to successfully meet our friends’ needs, their needs—for clothing, food, hygiene—don’t go away. Right now, there are 26 people waiting for our help to buy things like soap and emails home. We support 20 people locked up in western PA with monthly $100 payments for their commissary needs (hygiene products, over the counter medications, clothes, phone calls and emails). We also support dozens of other people with one-time payments of $100. Most of our requests come from people who have no one else to ask. Everything costs money in prison and the best paid incarcerated worker in PA makes $1/hour. Please consider contributing to our commissary fund to help our incarcerated friends buy what they need to survive.
