As I posted last week, I'm up to my ears in birds. While I'm still looking for a big cage, I'd also like to rehome some of the parakeets. If you're interested in a bird, or preferably two since the little guys like company, please let me know. I've got five ready to go now & will have more in about six weeks. I've learned a little more since all this started & can give you a few tips on how to prevent breeding! Thanks, Rebecca

Bed Bath & Beyond in Waterworks Plaza

Hi fellow hper's sorry for not thinking to post this sooner; but for those who do not know - Bed Bath & Beyond in Waterworks Plaza is closing sometime mid-February. They did not renew the lease due to rent increase by the landlord. Currently the sale is 40% to 60% off - you CANNOT use any coupons at this location. All sales are final. Most things are picked over; but if you have a little time go aisle by aisle and you never know what you may find tucked in a corner or under something else as I did! ;) Thanks and have a great day!Sue

Free baby items

Free for a family in need! A mini crib without a mattress and various other baby items including: a bathtub, baby memory book, picture frame, breast pump (needs tubing, etc), infant clothing (mostly girl and summer style), a few toddler pjs sets, and a ton of hairbands/bows. Plus a few other odds and ends in the bags. We would like someone to take the crib and bathtub full of items all together if they are in need or know someone who is low on resources. All items are in good condition, although used. The crib will most likely need paint touch ups. The mini crib dimensions can be found on Amazon- it is the DaVinci Kalani. I will put the items on the porch for pick up in East Liberty/Highland Park. Again, please take all items. Thank you!

Cat around N. Highland

Hello hper's, There is an all black cat that has been around the rear of houses in the 1100 block of N. Highland, close to Farragut St and off of Hampton. Usually can hear it meowing or maybe crying late night into early morning (around 3am). Anyone let their cat out in this area and around these hours? Concerned that kitty isn't homeless or abandoned, especially with the Winter temps. No pictures available......just have seen it from windows and can hear it. Thanks for any info Sue
