*From PWSA:* Good afternoon, I wanted to make you all aware that beginning tomorrow, PWSA contractor crews will shut down a portion of trail in Highland Park for work on a large transmission main near the trail. I’ve attached a map for reference. This work will be M-F and is anticipated to wrap up October 1. The work involves a visual inspection of the pipe, which will involve digging. This is part of a larger list of projects PWSA is undertaking to upgrade some of its most critical assets. To date, we’ve coordinated the closure with the Parks Conservancy and Forestry. Tutor Needed in Morningside

Posting for a family who lives in Morningside and is seeking a tutor for our 11 year old son. He is in 6th grade at the Environmental Charter School doing virtual learning starting in mid-September. We'd like a tutor that can come to our home 2 to 3 days a week in the mornings (between 10:30 am - 1:30 pm) to help him focus, organize and plan for his schoolwork and check over assignments to ensure they are complete. If his work is complete within the scheduled time, we'd love a tutor who could teach him another skill or do things like go outside, make art or play games.
