This is an amazing place, the story of 3 friends , barbers and hairdressers who decided to open this very friendly and artistic space, crafting their passion on people's heads. I am picky with a haircut and always had a hard time finding a good hairdresser with fair pricing ( I have short hair and go quite often!) . Yes, they also cut women's hair, and Dino was trained also by French hairdressers. I highly recommend it, it was a great experience!

2 Reindeer Glasses from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation Movie Available

I have 2 of these never used clear glass reindeer glasses - the same ones used in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation movie starring Chevy Chase. They are still in the box for easy wrapping. I thought it might be nice to support our local arts and offer them for sale with 100% of the proceeds from this sale going to the Pittsburgh Glass Center AND I will personally match the amount of the sale to double the donation. My husband and I are saving money this year by not having our annual Christmas party and I thought it might be nice to give some of those savings back to a local organization who has been impacted by COVID-19. Fwd: Public Works Winter Storm Preparation

This is a message from Allegheny Alerts. Public Works expects rain to transition to snow after 8 p.m. tomorrow and accumulation to begin on pavement after 10 p.m., when temperatures are forecasted to drop below freezing. The snow is predicted to stop midday on Christmas with a total accumulation of 2 to 5 inches and possibly 6 inches in spots. We will be deploying at least 24 salt trucks installed with plows as soon as the snow begins to accumulate on the roads. Pretreating the roadways with salt is not an option because of the rain. We will continue to monitor the forecast and adjust our plans, as needed, to ensure continual coverage of our roads throughout the storm. That might include bringing in more drivers. The rapidly dropping temperatures following the rain and the possibility of blowing snow could create challenging conditions for drivers. We recommend that drivers slow down, avoid sudden stops, increase following distance, and be on the lookout for slick spots, especially on bridges and ramps.
