Happy Summer, Pittsburgh! City of Pittsburgh's Summer Food Program On Monday, June 17, 2019, Citiparks launched their 2019 Summer Food Service Program. This program provides healthy and delicious breakfasts, lunches and/or snacks throughout City during the summer months. The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) operates at approximately 80 City locations throughout the summer including our Mobile Food Truck which typically follows the Roving Art Cart. For 2019 the Summer Food Service Program begins Monday, June 17th and runs through Friday, August 23rd. The Food Programs Division of Citiparks offers a unique and wonderful opportunity that provides meals for our City’s youth. The programs allow for After-School Food Service as well as the Summer Food Service Program, to ensure nutritious meals are made available to youth, free of charge! These food programs are available to all children up to 18 years old, as well as individuals with any type of disability/handicap up to 21 years old.
