CURB ALERT - kitchen table free to good home

A well loved but functional kitchen table is sitting the king Avenue side of our home in our driveway across from 1159 King Ave.White legs and base with oak top. Seat 4 with a built in leaf which pulls up but sliding the top to seat 6. Legs have been removed for moving. 3 chairs are available but all need repair.

Piano Lessons on N. Negley

Dear Neighbors, Now that I have completely moved into my home and can figure out at least five neighborhoods (out of 90+), I am available to teach a few more piano students. I moved to Pittsburgh from the DC area in July, 2018. I have taught private piano lessons for over 40 years and was a public school music teacher for 35 years. I have a BA in music education from the University of Washington and an MA in music education/music therapy from the University of Wisconsin. I spent years being an accompanist for many children's choirs and musicals; at one time, I was a children's hand bell director; I have facilitated with many summer music camps; and even drove the church bus through the streets of Washington DC, Baltimore, and rural Pennsylvania. I seem to be attracting students from either end of the spectrum. I have mature students who wish to either learn the piano for the first time or increase their playing ability; and I have several students who are just starting kindergarten or first grade. (I also have two very charming, high school students.) I moved to Pittsburgh to assist with my grandchildren so I am usually busy with early morning drop off and between the hours of 3 and 5:30 pm. I therefore, teach on Saturdays and Sundays (with flexibility) and weekdays between 10 and 2. I teach out of my home or can come to your home. I've placed two plastic milk crates out by the curb at 1334 N. Sheridan Ave. Please help yourself. Two purple velvet chairs that need some TLC but are totally salvageable - sitting outside 5536 Bryant St. Couch $50 - by Sealy, a few years old, with some marks we haven’t tried to remove but a cursory scrub took care of some of them. Made of a coated cloth to feel like leather. Stool $20 - very sturdy and in good condition Let us know if you’d like to see, or just come grab the chairs!
