Marathon Weekend at St. Andrew's

Simply a final reminder that "Pittsburgh Marathon Weekend" services at St. Andrew's, 5801 Hampton Street, include a special service of the Holy Communion Saturday afternoon, May 4, at 5 p.m., and then our regularly-scheduled two services on Sunday, May 5--at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. St. Andrew's is located at the very edge of the route. On Sunday morning folks not within walking distance of the church and traveling from places outside the route can approach Highland Park via Highway 28 and the Highland Park Bridge and then via "One Wild Place" through the Park. Highland Park Community Priorities Survey

The Highland Park Community Council (HPCC) & Highland Park Community Development Corporation(HPCDC) conducted a comprehensive neighborhood plan in 2004. HPCC is now taking time to reflect again on its vision and goals and we want to hear from neighborhood residents. The HPCC board’s preliminary discussions included reviewing the findings from the neighborhood plan, a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis, and internal polling. During our March 2019 community meeting, we presented our initial thoughts to attendees and asked for their input. We’ve taken what we’ve heard and have adapted it into this community survey. We hope that you’ll share with us your thoughts on how the HPCC should invest its time, energy, and resources so that our organization can more effectively engage residents and respond to the community’s interests and needs. Follows basic commands and is a huge lover. Prefers women but warms up to everyone. Crate trained as well. Has lived with a small male dog and gets along happily""He knows basic commands, is house and crate trained, gets along great with other dogs and really is just a good happy boy. Ever since he was born he had been a little timid at times but it's just in him I guess. He eats like a horse and holds a thin build but learns quickly if food is his treat lol. His favorite treat is broccoli. He is an absolute lover."
