Now that Spring is here, of course, the grass is starting to grow and the hedges need to be trimmed. We will start with an update from Zone 5 Police, followed by a presentation from Girls Hope, a non-profit organization who is looking to purchase a home in Highland Park to house 8 boys. Hi, We have two (possibly four) tickets to see Dear Evan Hansen on Saturday, May 25 at 2:00 PM at Heinz Hall with seats in Family Circle Right Center Row B but are unable to attend the show over the holiday weekend. We were hoping to switch to another night but there is no availability. Neighbors, I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful spring flowers in our wonderful Entrance Gardens. With the beauty of the flowers comes the opportunity to join the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy and your neighbors in keeping our park beautiful. Please mark you calendars for the regularly scheduled Weeding Wednesdays. I will continue to send out reminders, but thought you would like to plan for the dates in advance. As always, we will meet from 5-7 PM on Wednesday evenings. Angela Yuele will be there to guide us through the process and answer your questions. Please try to make as many as you can. If everyone came just once, imagine how much easier and beautiful the Gardens will be for all of us to enjoy. Maundy Thursday and Good Friday

A reminder -- at St. Andrew's Highland Park On Maundy Thursday, April 18, we will gather at 6 p.m. in Brooks Hall for an "around the table" service of Holy Communion, as we remember "the night before He was betrayed and the Institution of the Lord's Supper." We are invited to bring an item to share for the potluck supper that follows the service. All welcome! On Good Friday, April 19, we observe the Great Three Hours. An noon we follow a devotional Stations of the Cross. At 1 p.m., the Prayer Book Good Friday Service, with hymns, the traditional Solemn Collects, the reading of the Passion according to St.John, and a Good Friday meditation by our seminarian Hattie Taylor. At 2 p.m. the St. Andrew's Choir will present a Choral Service with the Heinrich Schutz "Seven Last Words," and with the chorales of the J.S. Bach "St. Matthew Passion."
