Hello hper's anyone know what is up with the house/owners of 5618 Jackson Street (corners Portland)? It seems to be abandoned and is very overgrown with trees/grass, etc. There looks to be postings from some authorities on the door(s) and window?!?! I did call '311' once about it - but guess it didn't reach the correct person or dept. We get a slap on the hand and notice for having a tree branch hanging over the sidewalk or a trash bag on the curb for two days and this place is completely out of hand!! ...... just 'curious'!! thanks neighbors!! - sue ;)

Highland Park: The Pittsburgh Garbage Olympics calls on your participation! We're kicking off our 2nd clean-up of the year on Saturday September 22nd from 9 - 11 AM! Join your neighbors, friends, and family members to brighten up our streets and keep litter out of our waterways and sewers. We'll be "competing" against the other neighborhoods in the city to see who can clean-up the most garbage in the two hour time frame.
