Hi folks, Help yourself to this big ol cheery rug. 9x12'. Woven cotton, no pile. Mostly pretty clean-- not dingy looking, but it could use some spot care. Has lived with a cat and a dog, but has been rolled up for a while and made a fairly sturdy side table that held a potted plant all winter. Spruce up your patio this summer for free? Use it for an outdoor event? Pick it up from the stoop of 1201 N Euclid (across from smiling banana leaf). I'll be out all day so I couldn't tell you if it's still there or not. Just come by!

Please Join us for the Annual Meeting of the Highland Park Community Council, which will be held at 7pm this Thursday, June 21st at St. Andrews. This meeting will have a packed agenda, including: - A presentation from PWSA on a number of infrastructure projects at and around the reservoir to improve water distribution, reduce corrosion in lead pipes, apply treatment methods that will meet state water quality regulations, and enhance the security of our water supply at Highland Park Reservoir I (additional details available here <http://www.pgh2o.com/highlandpark>). - A presentation from the Environmental Charter School regarding their plans to open a new campus at the former Rogers Elementary School in Garfield - Elections HPCC President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary, as well as and 3 Board members. Hello Neighbors! I am in need of old tattered jeans, jean jackets, dresses,etc for a high school art project beginning in the fall but Im starting to prep the fabric now , the more raggedy the better, ripped, shredded, torn, stained ,old, new, it doesnt matter as long as they are clean I can pick up or you can drop off at 5825 Elgin St, SInce this is a school project Im looking for free please Size doesnt matter for this project , nothing will go to waste!! Greetings! In the fullness of summer we find so many opportunities for outward expression! Joy, Play, Creativity! Balance with the reminder to simply 'be' is essential: Work is not always required. There is such a thing as sacred idleness. –George MacDonald May you enjoy the beauty of this creative time in all ways possible! This weeks class on Tuesday June 19 will be outdoors in Highland Park to the right of the fountain. Please join together for an 8 a.m. class and bask in the beauty of summer surroundeced by the full bloom of the gardens! Bring a mat, wear comfortable clothing, all levels and cost is $10. Meditation class will on Wednesday June 27 from 7 to 8 p.m. at my home office in Regent Square. Please let me know if you plan to attend so that we can have enough chairs set up in advance.
