Join us this *Saturday, October 13* as we celebrate our 1 year anniversary as a part of the Highland Park community. Enjoy $1 drip coffee, $1 off pints, and new frozen flavors! Hi everyone! A brand new Syrian family just arrived last week to Pittsburgh after 2 years in Tuscon, AZ. They heard Pittsburgh was really welcoming to Syrians, how lovely is that? They have a 5-month old (and three older kids too). They have nothing, they only brought what they could carry on the plane. I've secured some furniture but I'm looking for a pack'n'play, swing/bouncer and a stroller in very good condition. If you have any of these and would be willing to drop them off on my porch in HP before Friday night, I'm headed back out there to see them. Message me for my address. I'm not in need of more items at this time...but if anyone wanted to think about more ways to help I just gave away about 5 tables worth of personal care, cleaning supplies and baby items (diapers, wipes, etc) at an event we had.
