Women's Workout & Healthy Living Chat at the HP Reservoir - Wed. 9/13

Hi everyone! I'm a local endurance sports coach and health coach. Come out and join me for a women's mixed-intensity cardio & strength workout at the reservoir, followed by an informal chat about some easy ways you can clean up what you're putting into and onto your body. WHEN: Wed, Sept 13 TIME: 6:00 - 7:15 PM WHERE: Highland Park - Meet by the Fountain Many people feel they don't have time to fit in a trip to the gym or to make time for strength training, but I'll show you how you can string together some body weight workouts to get in a solid and time-efficient workout from (almost!) anywhere. We will meet at the main entrance to Highland Park at the end of North Highland Avenue, right by the fountain. Workout will include easy cardio warm-up, dynamic stretching, and a mixed intensity set of runs and body-weight strength work (examples: walking lunges, planks, air squats, push-ups). Total workout duration including warm-up/cool-down will be about 45 minutes. The workout can be modified by intensity, rest breaks, and movement to meet your current fitness level. Clean living chat will last approximately 30 minutes following the workout. Please bring... *Something to drink *A yoga mat or towel (optional; but may make some exercises more comfortable) I recommend wearing clothes that you're comfortable moving around / sweating in, as well as supportive/comfortable running/athletic shoes. I'll provide some healthy refreshments for a post-workout snack as well as some of my favorite clean skincare products for you to sample.
